Amazing Gardens of the World: Xilitla, Las Pozas 3.19.12
This surreal landscape named Las Pozas (the pools) seems to be right out of Alice in Wonderland. It is the type of landscape architecture we here at Traveller's Bazaar romanticize about in our dreams, sketches, and aspirations. Located in the mountainous jungle town of Xilitla; north of Mexico City, Las Pozas was created by the English eccentric Edward James. The garden features some 200 fantastical structures that defy the norm. These types of spaces are what drives us to seek further and expand our horizons, such a profound place for inspiration. This truly is a wonderous garden of the world, so hidden so pristine. Enjoy.
